An intensive and fun 6-week bachata program that includes in person and online instruction by Kimberly and special guests. The program ends with a weekend workshop, and a photo and video shoot of all the dancing queens who take the course! It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!

I enjoyed being in this group with other women and being a part of this community. I feel like that is healing in itself. I enjoyed the support from Kim to become a better dancer. For me, dancing is a release of emotion, an expression of what is deep within the body, and a fun work out. Dance teaches me life lessons of humility, self-love, self-acceptance, self-respect, and being involved in a community. I enjoy finding little lessons of how dance relates to life outside of dance. For example, Kim said in our first class… “when you smile, your body smiles”. This could be extended into everyday life. Another one - what you put into practising dance is what you will get out of it. Same goes with anything in life. Thanks everyone for a fun 6 weeks!

So many time I went to look for Latin dance classes but refused to register for so many reasons - I told myself I don't have any skills to dance and that it might be too late or I'm to busy for that...

I always wanted to learn dance growing up, but I never got the chance.
I have taken a few beginner salsa/bachata classes with Kim. Then I saw the add for Kim's program on Facebook. I was tired of waiting to be better before I try certain things. I took the risk and signed up. I learned so much. There were challenges. Over time the moves I could not do at all - I was slowly starting to pick up. The sense of accomplishment was overwhelming at times. Then I had to face reality. We were going to video this performance. That terrified me more and when I expressed my anxious feelings about this Kim, along with the rest of the group, reassured me and shared their own struggles. It was a community of women supporting each other in order to help one another rise up and do something amazing together. The hugs. The check ins on how I was feeling. So much love. I am not sure I would have faced my video fears as easily without that community support that Kim fostered in that class.
I made it through the whole experience.
